Street Play on Stop Bagging the Planet – Go Bio/Green

Brief of Program:

The NCC Unit of C.C. Sheth College of Commerce, Ahmedabad, organized a remarkable event in observance of Paper Bag Day on July 12, 2024. The theme of the event was “Stop Bagging the Planet – Go Bio/Green,” highlighting the urgent need to reduce plastic usage and adopt eco-friendly alternatives.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from 8 NCC cadets, under the guidance of Dr. Jagatrao Dhangar, Associate NCC Officer. The cadets took a creative approach to spread awareness by performing a street play titled “Say No to Plastic.”

The street play was designed to educate the public about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment and promote the use of biodegradable materials. Through engaging dialogues and impactful performances, the cadets conveyed the message of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Dr. Jagatrao Dhangar commended the efforts of the cadets, stating, “The enthusiasm and dedication shown by our cadets in spreading awareness about the importance of going green are truly commendable.
