About College

Started in 1969 as Navgujarat Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, offers graduate and postgraduate courses in commerce. The institution was renamed as C. C. Sheth College of Commerce in 1995. The college is a constituent institution of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges.

The college is affiliated with Gujarat University. C. C. Sheth College of Commerce has undergone two cycles of accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and received B+ & B Grade respectively in the year 2007 & 2014. The college is also the recipient of the Best Commerce College Award in Ahmedabad by India Today Nielsen Survey in June 2013.

C. C. Sheth College of Commerce has a well-equipped building replete with amenities such as well-ventilated classrooms, computer labs, a lift for specially abled students and a spacious reading room.

Courses Offered

C. C. Sheth College of Commerce, Ahmedabad, offers a diverse array of courses tailored to meet the demands of the dynamic business landscape. Students can pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) with a Major subject – Accountancy, Minor subjects – Economics/Statistics/Commerce under NEP – 2020.

For those seeking advanced knowledge in accounting and auditing, the college offers a Master of Commerce (M. Com) programme. This programme delves deeper into subjects like Advanced Accounting and Auditing.

About Navgujarat Group of Colleges

The Navgujarat Group of Colleges founded under the aegis of Vidya Bhavan Trust in 1964, have been at the forefront of providing higher education in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat for more than 60 years. Founded by noted educationist, Prin. M. C. Shah, a much-lauded pioneer of higher education and a revered visionary in the education sector, Vidya Bhavan Trust, through Navgujarat Group of Colleges, has ensured that youth from all cross sections of society can access quality higher education, and through their learning and profession contribute to the betterment of human society.
